CITIZENS OF NOWHERE

Participatory research and policy design as part of master thesis Law and Politics of International Security

The departures lounge at JFK Airport in the movie The Terminal is a fitting metaphor for the real-life legal limbo in which many stateless people are trapped. The Citizens of Nowhere participatory research project with Global Alliance Against Traffic in Women explored the lived realities of stateless women in northern Thailand in the context of migration and provided recommendations for the design of anti-trafficking policies and interventions.
